My practice is multi-disciplinary and conceptual, with content driving the selection of media and thematic threads of feminism and absurdism uniting several bodies of work. Often this work takes the form of satire and social criticism, examining questions of chance, repetition, the illusion of progress, and the role of gender in art and culture. My most recent work, Cant, deals with the common roots of language and aesthetics and the exclusionary qualities of both.
Engagement with material is central to my practice, and much of the material I use is recycled, found, or repurposed.
